The Constant Shitstream of Coca-Cola "Activism"
They're the emblems of the corporate fascist system that's killing us all and the earth, and there's no end to the constant, factory-farmed shitstream of coverage about them. Critical Race Theory. BLM, XR. Brought to you by Unilever-Colgate-Pfizer-Time-Warner. But don't question those confluences, no. Don't be so bloody negative! These types of orgs are so radical! They do good! No one else is standing up, right, so why shoot down the only movements trying to do some good?
Because the very reason why these movements have risen to such prominence is because they've been allowed to. They serve some kind of deeper hidden purpose while appearing to solve a problem, whether it's to foment further division among the working class, or whether it's to get that class to agree to let powerful elites “solve” the problems they created.
These orgs and that theory are prominent because they pose no threat to those who give not a fuck about you or the society you depend upon for your flourishing, which they sold off for profit. XR isn't anti-capitalist. Look at its sponsors. It's Green Capitalist. A call for you to settle for the same cancer but with alternative therapies to “heal” it. A pile of horseshit as a last ditch attempt by the buffoons at the WEF to earn your consent for them to maintain their positions.
I subscribe to a “pitching markets for writers" site. This is where writing outlets put out calls for topics they'd like writers to pitch them about (pitches are like short summaries of what you hope to write about which, if your idea is good, turn into an invite for you to write it up for consideration to publish). There's hardly ever anything on that site that is of interest to me. Well why not, you grumpy old fuck? What the hell is wrong with you? Are you not interested in inequality, social justice, racism? Are you racist?
No. Well, at least, no more racist than anyone else, and considering it's been argued that capitalism and its baby colonialism created racism in the first place, why are we more focussed on the outshoots of the system than the system itself?
And see, this is the problem. This is why I can't find anywhere to pitch to. Because hardly any of the journalism, or the activism, goes to the crux. It's all neoliberalised. Brought down to individual bootstraps. The political medicalised. The problem isn't the system, stupid. It's the colonialism in the system. Or it's you. Or at least it's us. Bad humanity. Bad, bad. Racist wastrels. Planetary virus vectors. But it's never them, the 1%. Even that term has gone out of fashion. So early 10s. The 1%.
Why are we not talking about them constantly? We should be, if they didn't have the most sophisticated propaganda outlets in the history of our species trained on us to focus on symptoms but never on the causes.
The US military is the biggest polluter on the planet. But do go on feeling guilty about the stuff you didn't recycle.
The issues we face are global but when was the last prominent activist org that encouraged the working class to rise up and take back what has been stolen from us?
It sounds stupid. And anyway, it would be a domestic terrorist organisation, wouldn't it.
I'm an anarchist (meaning not that I go out and set fire to your car, but that I believe in a society where we run the show, not people appointed by us who can't handle the power. Not representatives even. Us, ourselves. Power decentralised, spread amongst us all, deliberated through local councils run by us. The only way our species can avoid the absolute power that corrupts absolutely).
I like to live upstream and focus on the cause rather than the symptom. So, I dunno, I guess the reason I can't find much to pitch about is that I just don't really like the taste of co-opted, defused, defanged neoliberal shit in my mouth or the feel of words spurting out my fingers urging a focus on downstream individual effects when there is no desire to stem the source. I know too much now. I’ve watched capitalism co-opting its enemies in real time and didn't even understand what was happening until years later. I've watched, backwards, the fight of everyday people against the class who will use and abuse them (these people were once called the Left) be co-opted decades ago by the vile New Labour movement, the fight of which has now been so watered down that what it pisses out is something corporations are not only happy to drink, but which has become a kind of marketing for them. A whitewashing. A cover-over of the role they play as a class, the corruption they are exerting right now.
I mean, call me a total fucking right-winger Nazi for taking note of this if you like, but if corporations and their media are on the side of your activism you're already dead. Flaccid. Impotent. An empty glove flapping in the breeze. A useful idiot among a clanging plethora of useful idiots. A spectacle.
Harmless. Promoting the status quo while appearing to promote a move out of it. Easily soundbiteable. A consumption item for cult Democrats to eat to feel themselves virtuous. What turds. Meanwhile, those who can see through the bullshit and the hidden division inherent in all of this are the problems. Orange Man lovers. Racists. White trash fucks. Right wing nutjobs.
These spectacles are increasing the inequality divide. The comfy middle class loves them as playthings for system-bypass and meanwhile it's slipping in some extra class contempt. Cos those who aren't playing along, it's not because they're seeing through it. It's because they're deficient. It's because they’re white trailer trash, incurably racist. Their original sin, stained into them at birth. And they refuse to perform the ablutions that the good guilty white folk are performing. Meanwhile, the working class watch them acceding to the same old imperialist bullshit. Nah, they're not racist at home. But they sure don't give a fuck about all those Syrian Yemeni, Libyan bodies bombed abroad.
All this corporate activism works perfectly. It's the perfect neoliberal jizzfest, making stuff horizontal while obscuring, once again, the role played by the elite, entitled white people of means, in conquest and colonialising. But yeah, go off accusing poor white people, children of intergenerational trauma, with no jobs, of rolling about the place in bloated white entitlement, sticking their disgusting dirty white cocks into anything squishy, while at the same time being contemptuous of their, like, occupation in the latest fucking tent city to spring up.
Cos that's real logical.
Some of us see where the entitlement lies, from the very top and trickling down to those still profiteering in this crumbling system. We see your performative bullshit. We see your absolute ignorance of the class war that’s been perpetrated upon us for generations. We see it. We've got no power, we get more voiceless by the day obline after you acceeded to once again co-opting our pain for your sanctity in your accommodating of tech overlords’ censorship cos it made you feel unsafey-wafey being out of your silos. We have far more understanding of the situation going down than you. We see right fucking through you.
